This agreement is entered into between Raptor Digital Marketing (the “Provider”) and the undersigned “Client” for the development of an e-commerce website.
The Provider will develop a new e-commerce website for the Client using the WordPress platform and the WooCommerce e-commerce plugin. The project includes the following deliverables and services:
Website Pages: A total of 6 pages, including a homepage, an About Us page, a Contact Us page, a Custom Reviews page, and two additional subpages.
Product Import: Import of approximately 625 products and 22 product categories from the Client’s existing Shopify website into the new WordPress/WooCommerce site.
Estimated Development Time: An estimated 30 hours of development and import work.
The project is billed at the Provider’s standard hourly rate of $100 per hour. The initial estimate for this project is 30 hours, totaling $3,000.
Initial Deposit: An upfront payment of $1,500 (50% of the estimated cost) is due before the project begins.
Final Payment: The remaining balance is due upon the project’s completion and final sign-off by the Client.
The Provider will make every effort to complete the project within the estimated timeframe. However, the final completion time may vary by up to 5 hours above or below the estimate. The final invoice will be adjusted based on the total number of hours actually worked.
For the Provider to complete this project, the Client agrees to provide the following:
Shopify Access: The Client must provide the Provider with the necessary access to their Shopify account to properly export product data and ensure a successful import.
Payment Processor Setup: The Client is responsible for setting up a new payment processing system, as Shopify Payments is not compatible with WordPress/WooCommerce. The Provider recommends Stripe due to its widespread use and positive reviews, with estimated processing fees of 2.9% + 30¢ per transaction. The Provider is not affiliated with or endorsed by Stripe and this is a professional recommendation only.
The estimated project cost does not include the following services:
Monthly hosting costs
Ongoing website maintenance and support
Marketing or SEO-related services
Upon completion and final payment, the developed website is the property of the Client. The Client is free to use any hosting provider they choose. The Client is not required to use the Provider’s hosting services.
The Provider offers an optional Standard Hosting & Maintenance package for $100 per month. This package includes:
Private server hosting
SSL certificate
Daily backups (rolling 30-day period)
Up to 1 hour of support and development time for the website per month
Terms for ongoing maintenance and support can be discussed separately upon project completion.
By signing below, both parties agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this contract.
