What Exactly I Do

Doing everything makes you a jack of all trades, master of none.

Designing websites and handling SEO is my bread and butter. It’s what I do well. I enjoy talking with any business in Fort Worth that’s looking to grow. Clients of mine originally come to me with their websites and say, “What can you do? I want to get more leads and sales from my site.” I work with each business owner based on what he or she is looking to accomplish. Unlike some other developers, I place a heavy emphasis on the SEO side, so potential customers can actually find the sites I create in search engines. Pretty important, I’d say.

What I enjoy is creating hard-working sites, and making sure the right type of people see the sites. That takes good SEO or those sites would never be found. If there are other aspects of your overall marketing plan, like App Development, Social Media, or Email Campaigns, honestly, we really don’t get into those areas. We like to keep our focus on SEO. But, I can make a few introductions for you.

My early years and how I got started.

Fort Worth SEO
My family raised me in Golden Valley, Arizona, about two hours outside of Las Vegas, NV. Growing up I was sick a lot, and my condition couldn’t be cured as long as we stayed in Washington State. They knew my sickness was related to humidity, or maybe mold, so we packed up and moved to a different region that would be easier on my body.

After arriving, the closest public school was 30 minutes away in Kingman, so my parents home- schooled me. All throughout my early years in school, I worked with our computer and toyed around with programming languages like GW Basic. I achieved my first success as a programmer at 12 years old, when I created a basic calculator using our old computer.

Where my love of being a nerd came from.

After learning the basics and more, I took my love of computers to the next logical area for any teenage boy… Games! I would create games of my own, and dig into the back end of the games I liked, looking for secrets and codes. I felt like a regular little hacker, kind of a cool skill to have as a kid. After that, I branched into the web world while I created awesome customized MySpace pages for my friends.
I had my major breakthrough after a short lapse of interest in programming, when I created a number of affiliate sites that made money though ad revenue and referrals. It was at this point that I began getting offers to build sites for other people, something that I had considered but never pursued. That all changed in 2007, when I launched Joseph Stevenson (a Fort Worth SEO Firm) and took on my first client. It seems that all of my family works in tech, including my two brothers. Today, I’m confident to put my SEO results up against any of the other Fort Worth SEO companies.

I believe business should be earned, not expected.

When looking at Fort Worth SEO companies, plenty of them tend not to focus on earning their clients business through good practices. We are different in that respect, and others. I look to win the trust of each client before I take them on and then keep that trust intact. What happens a lot of the time in this business, and with Fort Worth SEO companies, is that they look to sign long-term SEO contracts which they then outsource to third-parties… just to make an extra buck or two. That’s so not worth it!

My recommendation is to look at each SEO firm’s work as a whole. Some key areas to evaluate are their portfolio of site designs and testimonials from current clients. Don’t settle for stories from years ago. What worked last year may not work today. As you know, the web and technology in general changes literally on a daily basis. I work hard to build mutual trust between myself and my clients –
fueled by the results they see to their bottom line. That’s what makes any business successful; it works for me.

Fort Worth SEO

If you don’t do things right, don’t do them at all.

Instead of trying to move through clients quickly by short cutting work, like several Fort Worth SEO companies do, we focus on developing effective and precise methods to gain website rank. We take a step by step approach, rather than the “blitz style” of SEO that other companies implement. Here are the steps we use, and why they are more effective than other alternatives:

1. We review and improve your current site: Before we begin working on website ranking, we have to make sure your current site is optimized to be picked up by search engines, and that it looks professional for when you start to get more visitors.

2. We create new content: This is an important step which will be the driving force of increasing your site’s ranking. Examples of content include: Media releases, Blog posts, and Social media posts on the platforms that will be most advantageous for your business.

3. We repeat posting quality content over and over: The effect will snowball over time and your site will rise up in the search rankings.

If another Fort Worth SEO companies tells you the above process isn’t necessary, think again. At this stage of the game, it’s what works every time.
