What Exactly I Do

Doing everything makes you a jack of all trades, master of none.

As a web developer and expert in Honolulu SEO, I’m in the business of creating custom sites that can be found easily through search engines. People come to me when they want a high-quality and effective product that is aimed at getting noticed, and creating sales for their company.

Though I’ve developed my programming skills across various disciplines, I decided upon designing and managing SEO projects exclusively. I find it rewarding and the entire process comes very naturally to me. I’m comfortable being a specialist in an area that’s vital to the growth of all companies on the web (which is virtually all companies these days!)

Meeting my clients needs is a win-win proposition and I aim to drive every client’s website as high as possible in the search engine rankings.

My early years and how I got started.

Honolulu SEO
The reason why this business comes naturally to me is because I was unknowingly being groomed to be a programmer throughout my entire childhood. Both of my brothers work in the tech industry, too. Another reason that I got started with programming so young is because I was home schooled as child.

We lived in Golden Valley, Arizona, a small town about two hours outside of Las Vegas. The closest public school was a 30 minute drive from our house all the way in Kingman, AZ. Thus, I spent a lot of time with our computer, learning about different programming languages like GW Basic and the like. I ended up creating my first program when I was 12 years old, which set me down the path I’m on now.

Where my love of being a nerd came from.

After creating my first program, I just wanted to make more and more. My first program was simple, a basic calculator, but I soon expanded into creating computer games and customized profile pages on MySpace. As a kid, I was always digging through code and programs, seeing what I could glean from information very few people knew how to look at or access. When I was 20, I started creating stand- alone websites, and soon after that I started getting asked to create websites for other people.
My Honolulu SEO business was launched back in 2007 as Joseph Stevenson SEO Consulting, when I took on my first paying customer. I really enjoyed the work, and decided my business would specialize in Honolulu SEO. I still operate in the same space to this day, and have focused my considerable experience, natural talent, and industry knowledge into mastering SEO is all respects.

I believe business should be earned, not expected.

So being in the Honolulu SEO business (and programming in general) for as long as I have, you start to notice how your competitors operate. For example, it’s become an increasingly common practice for Honolulu SEO firms to hook customers in with lengthy contracts, only to turn around and outsource the project to other smaller SEO specialists who charge less money. I know this both from observing the industry and my personal experience. (I’ve been approached on several occasions to complete projects for these companies).

I’ve made it a point to always operate with honesty with my clients, as one of the most important aspects of being an entrepreneur is being able to respect and trust the people you work with. Because of this, I go out of my way to make sure my clients get a professional grade product at a good value, and seek to earn their business through good practices as opposed to sticking them with questionable deals like other Honolulu SEO companies.

If you don’t do things right, don’t do them at all.

Another common Honolulu SEO practice I’ve noticed is the tendency for other firms to shortcut the SEO process by relying on blog articles and links bogged down with repetition and terminology designed to trick search engines into ranking a site higher. This is damaging to the reputation of the company, as they are ranked higher at the cost of having a site and content that is poor quality. It’s incredibly obvious as a visitor when this is going on, as the weird wording sticks out quite a bit. We use a proven 3-step SEO process:

The process involves recoding the back end of the website, and rewriting the web copy so search engines can find the site easier. Then, we create high quality content, such as blogs and press releases, that we market through various channels that draw attention to your brand and business. After our high quality content is picked up and shared, this creates more buzz, exposure, and visits to your site.

This increased traffic also raises your site ranking on search engines. As more content is posted and released, the site’s ranking is driven higher and higher. We continue to do this until your site reaches your goal… and then we work to keep it there.

This method ensures that my Honolulu SEO clients get a good return on their investment.
